A superb Italian Job Mini has now become available - more details soon but if you are interested, email me (from the “contacts” page) and let me know.
A 1971 Mini has come to our attention as follows: Fully restored in 2008 with lots of new panels plus a roll cage and has covered less than 1000 miles since, only in Summer. The engine is a purpose built 1293cc supercharged A series on a freshly rebuilt gearbox with a cross pin diff. The spec is pretty big but in short it adds up to around 135bhp at the wheels. Brakes are Minisport 4-pot calipers on 7.9” vented and grooved discs with Minifin rear drums. It’s got coil overs all round with fully adjustable geometry front and rear (rear end is beam now rather than subframe). Dan is looking for around £11,995 but will consider sensible offers. Email me and let me know if you want to put in a sensible offer.

For sale from another club: Original 1997 white Mini Mayfair with black wheel arches, 1300cc, under 21,000 miles from new. Very good condition with all original features and only one previous owner (with known ownership history). Currently taxed and MOT’d. Reluctant sale and the asking price is £3,995.
Again, give me a call or email me if you are interested and I will give you the contact number.
Bury Mini club member Charles C has decided to sell his Mini Mayfair 998. It has a stage 3 upgrade, twin chain drive and the underside has been waxoiled. It has been regularly serviced by Tony Davis. Charles’ Mini has “a noisy exhaust and a not quite so noisy one”. He has all the original wheels etc. to be able to convert it to its original state. It has done 60,000 miles and the bodywork “needs a bit of work”. Charles is looking for £2,000 for the Mini and all the bits and pieces. If you are interested, drop me an email from the Contacts page and I will pass on your interest to Charles.
