THE GENERAL INFORMATION

We meet on the last Thursday of every month at “The Manger” in Bradfield Combust. This public house is on the A134 Bury St Edmunds to Sudbury road, about 4 miles outside Bury.The meetings usually start at about 8.00pm and are very informal and we have the chance to chat over a (soft) drink about our latest upgrades, engine problems, Mini runs, club stands at local events and all other Mini related matters.

We have a trading post where you can sell or buy bits and pieces. Advertising is at no cost to you. Click on the trading post page to see what’s there.

If you have an interest in the car and want to think about joining before committing, just turn up at the next meeting or event to parade your pride and joy, along with the rest of us.

WE MADE JUST OVER £1000 ON THE DAY. £500 WILL GO TO THE CHILDREN’S WARD AT BURY HOSPITAL, £250 TO THE ALDEBURGH UNITED CHARITIES AND £250 TO ORCHID.

 JOINING NEXT YEAR.

We will be putting together a programme of events we will be attending next season. If you want to become a member of the club and be involved in the events, please fill out the 2012 membership form available HERE.  The cost is staying at £15 per year for a single membership and £18 for family membership. This cost relates to £1 per month plus £3 (or £6 for family membership) to cover insurances for our meetings, web site and runs.

We had 35 paid up members in 2011. If you want the special offers, please fill in the membership form - thanks!

If you join the Club, you will get a membership card and we have a parts club account at Motorspares. To qualify for the discounts they offer, just present the membership card at any of their shops. There will also be reduced or free entry to some of the shows we will attend.

We are anticipating a snow-free February so there will be a Bury Mini Club meeting on Thursday 23rd February 2012 at the Bradfield Manger. Just  reminder to members to book for the Suffolk Run and to make sure everything is up and running OK.
